Statement
The Bonhoeffer House Berlin – as a Memorial and Place of Encounter that documents and passes on the spirit and attitude of the Bonhoeffer family, as a vibrant association, and as part of the church – condemn the political appropriation of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and endorse the petition of the International Bonhoeffer Society and the open letter from Members of the extended Bonhoeffer family.
Opening of the Bonhoeffer House
Dear visitors,
Welcome to Bonhoeffer House!
As an individual or as a group, you are cordially invited to visit the house with its permanent exhibition on the life and significance of Dietrich Bonhoeffer – also for us today – and with his restored study under the roof. Unfortunately, the Memorial and Place of Encounter, which opened in 1987, is not barrier-free.
Guided tours are available in German and English.
The house is run and supervised by us on a voluntary basis. We would be happy to come to the house to give you a tour of the house. For this we need your registration a few days in advance. We ask for donations to finance the work.
Best regards, also in the name of the other volunteer members of the team,
(Martina Dethloff, Lisa Frank, Kurt Kreibohm, Ulrich Luig, Ingrid Portmann)
Gottfried Brezger, Chairman
Bonhoeffer House Memorial and Meeting Place e.V.
